Home Performance with Energy Star®
The HomeOwnership Center can help make your 1-2 family home more energy-efficient and reduce your utility bills. Eligible homeowners can receive up to 50% of the costs associated with energy efficient improvements (up to a maximum of $5,000 for one unit and $10,000 for a 2- family building) through the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® program.
Basic Eligibility:
- 1-2 Family Homes
- Owner Occupied
- Low-to-Moderate Income
The following are some eligible improvements:
- Insulation upgrades
- Air sealing the building to reduce drafts and cold spots
- Duct Sealing
- Heating system repair or replacement
- Other cost-effective energy saving measures
