Assisted Home Performance with Energy Star

The HomeOwnership Center can help make your 1-2 family home more energy-efficient and reduce your utility bills. Eligible homeowners can receive up to 50% of the costs associated with energy efficient improvements (up to a maximum of $5,000 for one unit and $10,000 for a 2- family building) through the ENERGY STAR program.

Basic Eligibility:

• 1-2 Family Homes
• Owner Occupied
• Low-to-Moderate Income

The following are some eligible improvements:

• Insulation upgrades
• Air sealing the building to reduce drafts and cold spots
• Duct Sealing
• Heating system repair or replacement
• Domestic hot water heating upgrades
• ENERGY STAR appliances and lighting
• Other cost-effective energy saving measures

To apply for the Assisted Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Program and Energy Smart Loan, you will need to provide documentation in order to file an application.
